A server outage on Thursday at 10:30 AM has led to a four-day delay in processing applications for students seeking No Objectiion Certificates (NOCs) from the Foreign Study Permit Branch.
Shantiram Poudel, the head of the Branch, reported that efforts are underway to recover data after the unexpected server glitch.
While there has been a successful retrieval of 75% of the data for students who applied before December 8, the process for data recovery from December 8 onwards is still in progress.
“We have advised those who applied since December 8 to submit their applications again. We will issue the NOC after physically receiving their original documents once the data recovery is complete,” stated Poudel.
