The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene on Monday.
The cost of petrol, with the price revision, has been reduced to Rs 170 per litre and the price of diesel and kerosene reached Rs 165 per litre.
The price adjustment came after the NOC’s Indian counterpart, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), has been sending petroleum products at a reduced price for a long time.
The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remains unchanged at Rs. 1,800 per cylinder.
The corporation has also reduced aviation fuel prices for domestic airlines by Rs 10/litre and now will be provided at Rs 160 per litre.
