Shital Mahajan- 41 years old, professional skydiver from India, has clinched a world record for the highest skydiving landing by leaping from a helicopter in the Kalapathar area of Mount Everest
Setting a new record in the women’s skydiving category, Mahajan initiated the dive from an altitude of 6500 meters and landed at an altitude of 5317 securing her place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Mahajan also holds the esteemed Padma Shree Award. Executing four dives between November 11-13, she received accolades during a ceremony in Kathmandu, where she expressed her commitment to promoting tourism in Nepal.
