Rapidly increasing cold weather in the past few days in Nepal has affected the daily lives of people residing in the Terai belt of Nepal.
Thick foggy mornings are being reported in the western Terai region including places like Tikapur, Sukhad, Lamki, and Mahendranagar since Wednesday.
Daily activities have been affected due to heavy fog and cold weather and has forced people to stay indoors in a bid to keep themselves warm and safe.
Meanwhile, regular flights to and out of Nepalgunj Airport have been affected since two days due to poor visibility.
Similarly, morning classes in schools and campuses also have been affected due to the cold weather. Traffic police too have advised caution to vehicles plying the roads during poor visibility.
