A bus heading towards Ratnapark almost overturned in the road in New Baneshwor Chow. The road leading to the service lane had eroded, causing the bus’ wheel to get stuck.

The passengers quickly evacuated the bus.

A similar incident occurred in October 2078 when the road in front of the Civil Hospital near Baneshwor Chowk faced flooding, resulting in a substantial pothole.

The Maitighar-Tinkune road, constructed by the Kathmandu Valley Road Expansion Project approximately six years ago, was hailed as the widest and most beautiful road in the country. However, within a year of completion, potholes appeared, raising questions about the quality of the construction.
