Mustang has become the second district to vaccinate all eligible residents above 18 years of age against COVID-19.

Manang was the first district to vaccinate all residents above 18 years of age.

According to Mustang Health Office Chief, Tikaram Bhandari, a total of 9,513 residents have been fully immunized while the remaining 242 are awaiting their second dose of Vero Cell in the district.

“All the locals are now vaccinated. If anyone is left behind by any chance or due to unforeseen circumstances, we have urged such people to contact us,” said Bhandari.

He said that the district had some surplus vaccines.

Bhandari added that the vaccination drive was conducted in Mustang as per the decisions made by the meeting of the District Immunisation Inspection and Coordination Committee and not a single dose was misused or wasted.
