The Public Service Commission (PSC) has decided to postpone all its entire written examinations that were scheduled to be held from November 1.
A meeting of the Commission held on Monday decided to postpone the written examinations for civil service as well as security agencies and organizations until further notice.
PSC made the decision after the order from the Supreme Court and the spread of infection within the Commission.
A statement issued by PSC on Monday said that they were having problems in deploying staff and managing the exams as the main branches related to the exams had to be closed due to coronavirus infection among candidates as well as staffers.
