The National Examination Board has unveiled the results of Grade XII board exams. Board Spokesperson Krishna Prasad Sharma informed that the results were published today as per the decision taken by the meeting of the National Examination Board held this morning.

The results of a total 374,015 students who took the exam have been published, among whom 7,063 candidates have scored ‘A Plus’. The number of candidates securing ‘A’ grade is 40,239. Similarly, 70,000 candidates have scored ‘B Plus’.

The Board stated that the number of candidates securing ‘B’ grade is 99,553. The number of candidates scoring ‘C Plus’ is 75,088, while 24,515 have secured ‘C’ grade.

Three thousand 875 candidates have scored ‘D Plus’ and 296 candidates scored ‘D’ grade. Likewise, 10,073 students have scored ‘E’ grade.

Students who missed their exam due to COVID-19 infection have been taking the test since last Wednesday. According to the Board, 41 students are participating in the re-test. Results of the re-test will be published within 10 days of the exam’s completion.

The Grade XII examinations were conducted across the country from September 15 to September 23 after being postponed twice because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Board has stated that it might some time for the public to be able to view the results online as the scores are currently being uploaded in the system. On can view the results here — https://neb.ntc.net.np/

Four fake examinees and two students making TikTok in the exam hall have been expelled. The Ministry of Education has been recommended for further departmental action against the duo making TikTok, including action against the head of the examination center and the inspector.
