Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has received the vote of confidence for the third time in the House of Representatives.

This confidence vote comes after the Nepali Congress (NC) withdrew its support to the Dahal-led government on March 5.

During today’s session in the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Dahal garnered 157 votes in favor of his government through the backing of various political parties, including the CPN-UML.

Out of the 268 Members of Parliament present during the session, 157 cast their votes in support of the Prime Minister, while 110 voted against him and one abstained from voting.
